ABLE National Resource Center Publishes Accomplishments and Outcomes Report
The ABLE National Resource Center (ANRC), managed by National Disability Institute (NDI), recently published an accomplishments and outcomes report which gives a full overview of the Achieving a Better Life Experience Act (ABLE) and the breadth of work undertaken by the ANRC.
The Helping Fulfill the Promise of ABLE report includes a summary of the history of ABLE and an explanation as to how the legislation enables people with disabilities to save money for disability-related expenses while remaining eligible for government benefits. The report also includes details about the ANRC website and its webinars, as well as stories from two individuals with disabilities who share their experiences as ABLE account holders.
The ANRC was founded by NDI to educate people with disabilities and their families, lawmakers and financial planners about the ABLE Act and ABLE accounts. In order to achieve this mission, the ANRC collaborates with other disability organizations, meets with lawmakers and offers helpful resources on ABLE.
