The B.E.S.T. Alliance (Building Economic Success Together) is a pilot program National Disability Institute launched in cooperation with the University of North Florida in Jacksonville to prepare college students for a future of work, savings and asset building. B.E.S.T. Alliances inclusive model brings together college students with and without disabilities from the Universitys business school, disability resource center, On-Campus Transition program (OCT), veterans services and anyone who wishes to join this club dedicated to promoting financial wellness and understanding. B.E.S.T. Alliance creates a financial mentoring program where students are trained to become financial coaches to mentor their peers. B.E.S.T. Alliance provides an opportunity for experiential learning, promotes financial wellness through educational opportunities to a critical age group to change thinking and behavior while advancing leadership, volunteerism and diversity.
